Tchoup Yard Private Events

RENTAL AREAS:

THE LITTLE HOUSE ON THE CORNER: Enjoy your special event in our private party room! The Little House is a cozy 1820’s shotgun building on the corner of Third St. and Tchoupitoulas. Perfect for parties of up to 120 guests.  All parties are 2 hours in length at minimum. Additional Hours can be added/discussed.

Room Rental Fee (for 2-hour event): $200

$50/hr for each additional hour

 

TCHOUP YARD WAREHOUSE RENTAL: Our spacious indoor warehouse bar is available for full or partial rental. Below is our availability for rental. All rates will be based on season, time, and duration.

 Monday & Tuesday: Available for rental

Wednesday & Thursday: Warehouse available seasonally.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: Seasonally not available for private rentals. Exceptions can be made depending on event size and seasonal scheduling. Please contact events@tchoupyard.com to inquire.

 

FULL TCHOUP YARD SITE RENTAL: Our full site includes the outdoor Patio Bar, Warehouse (large warehouse), and the Little House on the Corner (a historic building on the Third Street corner). Our 80+ space off street parking lot is included.

(All rates will be based on season, time, and duration) 

Monday & Tuesday: Entire property available anytime. Live music is allowed inside on these nights.

Wednesday-Sunday: Please contact events@tchoupyard.com to inquire about full-site buyouts on days when we are normally open to the public.


FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS:

On Thursday–Sunday, there are food and beverage minimums that must be adhered to. The minimums are:

 Thursday – $1500

Friday – $2250

Saturday – $2500

Sunday – $2000

 

*Minimum prices may be subject to change due to special event weekends


LIQUOR PACKAGES:

We offer the following open bar packages. All open bar pricing is set for 2 hours. Additional hours can be added. Pricing will vary based on added time. (20% gratuity and 10.2% tax added to final bill)

      • FULL TCHOUP: Open bar with no restrictions on liquor type; includes all liquor, all bottled and draft beer, all wine, and all frozen drinks — $47 per guest
      • CALL PACKAGE: Includes call liquor (see list below), all bottled and draft beer, premium wine, and all frozen drinks — $40 per guest
      • WELL AND FROZENS: Includes well liquor (Vodka, Gin, Rum, Bourbon, and Tequila), all bottled and draft beer, wine, and all frozen drinks — $36 per guest
      • WELL PACKAGE: Includes well liquor (Vodka, Gin, Rum, Bourbon, and Tequila), beer, and wine — $27 per guest 
      • BEER AND WINE ONLY: Includes all beer and wine — $21 per guest 
      • CASH BAR: Paying based on consumption or having a bar tab with a set dollar amount is allowed for any event, provided that minimums are met by the end of the event. If guests do not meet minimums during a cash bar event, the host must pay the difference in addition to any applicable fees.

*All event packages include soft drinks, juices, red bull, napkins, straws, plates, and utensils. Room fee deposit required at time of booking. Balance due at the end of the event.


ALCOHOL:

Bottled beer includes Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Miller Hi Life, Stella, Corona, Dos Equis, and Abita Strawberry

We offer a rotating selection of 20 beers on draft including but not limited to Abita Amber, Canebrake, Jucifer IPA, Holy Roller IPA, Paradise Park Lager, Stella Pilsner, Blue Moon White Belgian

 

Call liquor includes:

      • Vodka — Titos, Stoli, Stoli flavors, Deep Eddy flavors
      • Gin — Tanqueray, Beefeater
      • Rum — Bacardi, Captain Morgan, Gosling’s
      • Whiskey/Bourbon — Jameson, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Crown
      • Scotch — Dewars, Johnnie Walker Red
      • Tequila — Sauza, Don Julio Blanco

FOOD:

Catering: In-house catering is available through Karibu Kitchen. Please contact us for an updated catering menu and pricing.

Outside catering/food is allowed with room rental on a case-by-case basis. There is a $10 fee per person for outside catering.


The Fine Print:

 Decorating: The Tchoup Yard allows outside decorating companies. Decorating time will be determined by management. The use of staples and the hammering of nails are not permitted on the interior walls and exterior weather boards, only existing nails may be used. NO GLITTER OR CONFETTI ALLOWED.

Personalized Cups: Personalized cups brought in can be used as long as they are 12oz or smaller. Larger cups will be charged as doubles for drinks.

Decorating Breakdown: At the conclusion of the event, staff will move all decorations to a designated area. All decorations are to be packed away by staff or the decorating company and taken that day and/or night.

Terms of Payment and Final Payment: Cash, Check, and Credit Cards are accepted and must be paid the night of or within 24 hours of the event.

Deposit: 10% of the total proposal amount must be received 10 days within contract in order to fully book the space. This can be done over the phone or in person with Credit, debit, cash or check.

Cancellation Policy: Events must be canceled at least 1 month prior to the scheduled date. If not within the 1-month guideline, management will attempt to book the date with a comparable event and refund the deposit. However, if the date remains open then the deposit will be held. In the case that an event must be cancelled due to a natural disaster or a circumstance beyond Management’s control the event deposit or full payment will be held and the event will be rescheduled to a date that both the venue and customer can agree upon.

Minimum Guarantee: Minimum guarantee to book the Little House is 50 guests.

All events over 50 guests or more are asked to give a maximum number of guests, once the maximum number is set, a minimum guarantee is put in place at a rate of 70% of the maximum guess total. Please note that the minimum guaranteed amount cannot go under 50 guests to book the venue.

Security: Tchoup Yard can provide various levels of security starting at $25 per hour. Outside security is not permitted without management approval

Children: Children are not allowed at the Tchoup Yard unless a full site buyout is scheduled. If only the Little House/Warehouse is rented the crowd must be 21 and over – No Exceptions

 Crawfish: Crawfish boils are only allowed at the Tchoup Yard if catered by Southern Hospitality Catering and with the purchase of at least the Little House on the Corner. A cleaning fee of $150 will be applied to the bill and there are time restrictions on when the boiling may occur.
